Having been a director of a plant hire company for many years, I totally understand the frustration that business owners feel when their websites are not performing and they don’t know why.

I have sat in many a meeting listening to SEO’s bombard me with technical jargon and I understand how confusing this can be.

I have attended workshops to be told what to do, but never exactly how to do it and more importantly, why.

A little about me

I have specialised in SEO for over 13 years now and I have a passion for understanding how search engines work and what they want. My intrigue started when I was given the job of ‘making the website work’ whilst involved in a previous company.

From initially not knowing anything at all, I worked tirelessly (and still do) to find out how Search Engines work and became fascinated with SEO. Eventually the company was ranking on page one, number one for many highly competitive search terms that we should have been ranking for. (It was alot easier in those days though!) My secret moment of glory came when one highly regarded (at the time) marketing agency ended the conversation with “Can I please ask who does your SEO? Because there really isn’t anything better we can offer you when you are already getting those results”……yes!

I left the company to start an SEO agency that offered an honest, reliable and insightful service to other business owners and marketing directors who deserve this sort of approach.

I look forward to having the opportunity to share my thoughts and observations as the search engine results pages continue to evolve and SEO gets more and more exciting and complex.

I love what I do

I absolutely love being a technical SEO analyst and am much happier reading up on the latest SEO advancements than binge watching a Netflix series. I do have a genuine passion (some call it an obsession) to drill down and solve the problems you are having with your site. I genuinely get excited when I uncover something for the business owner that no one has been able to identify and I’m proud to say it happens quite a lot 🙂

I never assume you know what I’m talking about

There’s nothing better than getting into a geeky conversation with another SEO but I totally appreciate that all the website ‘chat’ can sometimes sound like a foreign language. I use your data to tell a story making it informative, relevant and understandable. Many business owners don’t want to know the reasons why, they just want it fixed. If however you do want to know why, I will very happily explain it to you in a way that makes sense.

I learn about SEO daily

Every day’s is a learning day and I spend a great deal of my time keeping uptodate with what’s going on in the industry. SEO is constantly evolving and as new guidelines and best practices come out, I make sense of them and pass my findings onto my clients. I don’t profess to everything, but I do promise that if I discover something I don’t know how to fix I will make it my mission to find out and get it sorted.

I only work with digital marketing experts

Over the years I have built up relationships with other digital marketing experts I trust. You can’t be an expert at everything and no one should profess to be. I do however have my ‘go to’s for different digital channels and I am more than happy to recommend them if the situation requires it.

I’ll walk away before you do

I will know when my job is done. The minute I feel I can’t offer any more value to your company I will say so. I will never leave you in a position where you feel ‘This just isn’t working’ or I’m not sure if I’m getting results’ I will never tell you something is needed when it isn’t and I will justify to you each piece of work I do.
